Boys of Belsmeade: Chapter 23 by Kazy Reed

Fumaro raced through the woods, crossing the neutral territory and onto the Belanni estate. When he reached the house, he forced the door open and let it slam against the wall, shattering a vase that sat on the entry table.

Lilianna Becker hurried out from the living room, rage painting her face, but when she saw the vampire, she gasped. The viscount passed by without a word and kicked in the door to Becker’s study. Becker shot to his feet. “Corleanni! What the hell—”

Fumaro’s eyes went black and he hissed. “Listen to me!”

Don’t Look Back #26 (5.5) by Julie Lynn Hayes

The drive back to the Crockett seemed hella-long to Marshall. But he didn’t dare fidget and reveal his impatience to Lee. And he definitely knew better than to touch himself, although the temptation to do so was great. He cast surreptitious glances at Lee, in the guise of taking in the scenery like any visitor to San Antonio. Instead, he secretly admired his handsome profile, the curl of Lee’s dark lashes over his blue eyes, the curve of the lush lips he longed to kiss.

Damn, he was one fine man.

Marshall swallowed a moan.

In Enemy Hands:  #3.3 by; M.A. Church

He vigorously petted the big feline. The animal dropped back down on four paws and rubbed against Adlar’s leg. Several years ago, Adlar had found a juvenile batar abandoned by its mother. It might’ve survived on its own, if it was lucky. Instead of luck, the cub had been hunted by something bigger than itself.

The encounter left the batar with the scar down its face. Adlar spent a month in the jungle playing nursemaid to the feline, trying to get it healthy without taming it. He’d succeeded. The batar remained close to Adlar, even establishing its territory near Adlar’s home.

 “What have you found, boy?”

Edge of Fury: Part 11 (NSFW) by Avery Dawes

Zane’s mouth dropped open as his brain comprehended Steele’s words. He’s going to make my ass cherry red? Holy shit!

“Darlin’, quit overthinking.” Steele unzipped his jeans. “Maybe I can help get ya back in the mood.” Steele withdrew his cock from his boxer briefs. Smearing pre-come around the head, he slowly started stroking his length.

Oh, that did it. Zane’s eyes latched onto the glistening mushroom head peeking out of Steele’s hand. Licking his lips, Zane unbuttoned and unzipped his own jeans. He imagined a sultry jazz tune in his head. He turned around, his hips swaying to the imaginary music.

Sunrise by Victoria Adams
J’dol stopped on the edge of the deck and looked at the sword. “Those bright stones on the hilt, mind does not have those. Why would one decorate a weapon of death?”
Sian flinched at his description of the weapon. “Those bright stones would be called gemstones. Rubies and emeralds to be exact. Although those are fake.” She bent low and picked up the sword. “Compared to yours J’dol, this weighs nothing.”

He held out his hand, taking the sword. He swung it, being careful not to hit anyone. “This is a child’s. One used to train a young warrior.”

Double Trouble: Chapter 20 by Jon Keys

“I do not want to go to that place!” Danny said.
Trent tried to keep calm. “Danny, you have to go. It’ll be fun. You’ll learn stuff and find new friends.”
“Will not be fun. I know it won’t be fun. Everything that’s fun is here at home.”
“And everything will still be here in a few hours. Then you can have fun stuff at home, and fun stuff at school.”
Danny wiped a tear of frustration from his eye. “Did you go to school? Was it fun?”

Time to Move On by Elyzabeth M. VaLey

“Put something on, you’ll catch your death of cold”

Disappointment coursed through. They were doing it again. No. He was doing it again. She was making an effort. She was dressed in her sexiest lingerie standing in the doorway to his home office, hoping, wishing, that’d he look at her. He’d barely raised his head from his computer. The damn machine was always more interesting than her. It didn’t matter what she was wearing. It didn’t matter if she was naked. It didn’t matter if she was bleeding to death. He didn’t care.

 “Didn’t you hear me?”

Rattletrap #18 by Tali Spencer

“Used them for breeding?” Every bone and organ inside Jedd turned cold. Icy. Drawing a breath meant fighting his own ribs. Plant’s voice when she answered sounded far away.

“That’s why he’s interested in you, isn’t it?”

“I… fuck this!” Jedd pushed back, thinking to leave.

“Hold on a second.” Plant thrust a thin doc card into his palm. The flat device felt warm against his cold skin. “You need to read the rest, it’s all on here. Trust me, you’ll be glad you did. Mitchell claimed the three stayed willingly. No one else knows if that’s true, but that’s what she said.”

Double Trouble: Chapter 16 by Jon Keys

Josh stared out the window to the rapidly dimming scene outside his window. The ice was already building on the fledgling trees he and Trent planted when they’d moved into the house several years ago. They’d be old men before the trees were big enough to enjoy the shade from them, but right now Josh wasn’t sure there would be more left of their precious trees than kindling.

Josh jumped when one of the giant cottonwood trees along the county road lost another branch to the weight. The sound just tightened the knots that already populated Josh’s stomach. Trent was still out in this shit, with both kids.

Boys of Belsmeade: Chapter 16 Kazy Reed

Aramis took my hand and led me through the French doors on the far side of the sitting room. The snow crunched under my boots, but I wasn’t cold. Evidently, air temperature wasn’t going to affect me as much now I was a vampire. Good. I fucking hate the cold. As we walked to the pool house, I leaned against my mate’s shoulder.

“Are you happy?” he asked me.

“Yes,” I replied quietly.

“But?”

I sighed. “I don’t know. This is all so weird. My life has changed in so many ways and… I mean, I barely know you, and now I’m bound to you forever—literally, forever.”
