Evans Woodworking: Chapter 27 by Jim Dunaway

Over dinner Ethan and Chris continued to talk. “So describe him to me.” Chris demanded.

“I’d say he was about six-two, maybe two-hundred-fifteen pounds, and even his muscles had muscles. His hair was dark brown and he had grey eyes.” He said with a wistful tone in his voice. Chris snickered. “What’s so funny?” He demanded.

In a sing-song voice, Chris replied, “E-than’s in lo-ove.”

“Fuck you!”

“So not happening, little brother. However, I suspect that if this Ryan guy were to flash his dick in front of your face you’d be bent over with your pants around your ankles quicker n’ shit.” Chris teased.

Innocence & Carnality: Part 30 by Mann Ramblings

“Now you have nothing to say?” I asked.

The uncharacteristic discomfort Blythe met me with intrigued me. It was not like him at all.

“You won’t think much of me if I tell you.”

“I don’t think much of you now. How will that make any difference?”

Blythe snorted as he tried to suppress his grin. I wasn’t sure goading him would work, but he looked around the shop, making sure no one was close by, and lowered his voice.

“Only Rother and Samantha know. You can’t breathe a word to anyone. Even Harston.”

“You have my word.”

“I was waiting to hang when Rother found me.”

Innocence & Carnality” Part 29 by Mann Ramblings

“I thought you were shopping for clothes,” Blythe said.

I didn’t look his way as I entered the shop, Harston at my side. “I am. I need clothing with a Francine sensibility.”

Blythe sounded utterly confused. “Then why are we here?”

“Because there’s more to me than a new wardrobe.”

My head spun at all the lovely gadgets. The machinist shop appeared to have every conceivable tool and piece of clockwork known to man. My personal form of heaven. I managed to pry the address from Rother and added it to our route. It had been some time since I had something new and shiny.

Moving Forward #16 (4.2) by Julie Lynn Hayes

He half expected to hear Dustin whine at him to slow down, but the other man caught up with him easily enough and fell into step beside him. Had he really thought he would be discouraged just because Marshall hadn’t waited for him? Didn’t matter. He shrugged the thought off and kept walking.

“Burnham seems like a nice place,” Dustin commented after a few moments of silence between them.

“It is. We like it.” Marshall shoved his hands into his pockets, focusing on the terrain over which they walked rather than his companion.

“I can see why. I bet everyone knows everyone else.”

Let Me In, Chapter 30, By Carol Pedroso

Thomas tossed the canister into the old dinner and as soon as smoke was billowing out the cracked windows he started yelling. “Go. Go. Go.”

They crashed through the doors and Cade saw six men and Hayley. At his signal he felt Jaydon send a mental command out passing over him and the rest of the assault team. “Everyone down, now.”

The men, who had been coughing when they crashed in, fell to the floor instantly. Hayley was at the opposite end of the dinner from where Cade entered. She swayed when the command went out but stayed standing.

The Stormlords part 7 by Ravon Silvius

Rowen didn’t know how to feel about the turn of events his life had taken. He couldn’t be sure of anything as he recovered. On the afternoon of the third day since he had woken, Kristoff helped Rowen stand, smiling without a trace of disgust as Rowen staggered to his feet. Pins and needles shot through his legs as he regained his footing.

“Let’s head outside,” Kristoff said softly. “We’ve come a long way, and you need your strength before we go any further.”

Double Trouble: Chapter 43 by Jon Keys

Christmas was coming and normally Darrin would be thrilled for the extended break. But with Ben’s death he couldn’t seem to bring himself to any real kind of resolution. Peace was beyond his imagination but it was harder each day to find some reason to go on. He’d made the mistake of telling Mitch about how he felt, and ended up with a weekly meeting with the university’s shrink.
“Those are hours I’ll never get back again,” Darrin muttered. “what?” Mitch asked. Damnit, when did he sneak into the room. Without turning he replied. “Nothing. Just the crazy guy muttering.”

Let Me In: Chapter 20 by Carol Pedroso

Cade woke to dim sunlight filtering into the bedroom and his cell ringing. He pulled the covers over his head and snuggled closer to Louis until the ringing stopped. Sighing with relief he started to doze back off, until the ringing started up again. Then the landline phone joined in too.

Huffing he reached over and grabbed his cell. Seeing it was Thomas he answered.

“This had better be important,” he growled. “It is barely light out.”

“Get your iPad and bring up the local newspaper. Check out the headlines and you’ll see what’s so important.”

Fortitude: Part Thirty-six by Cia Nordwell

“You seriously want us to wait for them to force us into the king’s palace?” Teddy asked. “That sounds dangerous. We’d be under guard.”

“Not necessarily. It is unlikely they would transport you as prisoners, so the king will likely manufacture some sort of need for you to come to him, to allay suspicions. Once you’re there, then you sneak off—”

“Just like that? We lose whoever our guide is, all the guards that are always there, and traipse around looking for a way down to what must be a hidden area under the palace?” I shook my head.

Don’t Look Back #50 (9.7) by Julie Lynn Hayes

Their first time together began with exploration. Lee encouraged Marshall to touch him in any way he wished in order to become comfortable with Lee’s body before they did anything else. Marshall was more than happy to comply. He’d dreamed of this moment for such a very long time. He moved to his knees so he could skim his fingers over Lee’s skin with feather light touches, caressing and discovering and learning. He lapped at Lee’s chest, loving the way he tasted. Then he licked Lee’s nipples until they became dusky nubs, and he sucked on each one, thrilling to the effect he had on Lee.

He found secret spots on Lee’s body that made Lee catch his breath when he touched them, and he mentally filed this knowledge away so he’d remember what pleased Lee. He’d wanted to taste Lee forever, and he was determined to do it, here and now. Even if he knew Lee wouldn’t come in his mouth. This time.
