The Hollow: Soul Seekers by JC Wallace

When no one spoke, Levi continued. “That’s why I stopped the meds. I thought they were causing me to feel nothing but…” The empty lonely echoing within him had continued.

“But it didn’t help.” Dr. Winston finished Levi’s thought. “Oh, Levi. This just keeps getting stranger. I know this is a lot to take in at once.”

More than he could have ever imagine. Levi looked down at the bloody tissue. Blood covered his palm as well “Can I use the bathroom?” He could only imagine what his face looked like.

Dr. Winston nodded. “The door behind Jeb.”

Jordan’s Second Chance 2.3; by T.C. Collins:

Wynter found himself wandering through the park where he’d first met Jordan and Lucas. Walking over to the large oak tree that had always soothed him, Wynter sat with his back to the tree and his legs drawn up. He wrapped his arms around his legs and rested his head on his arms. Wynter closed his eyes and inhaled, his breathing ragged. He’d wanted the truth of who he was his entire life—but not like this. To learn he was responsible for the deaths of his parents, what type of person did that make him?

It’s All in the Tips #9: by; A.R. Von:

Our eyes meet and a spark alights in his pupils. His touch…even though it’s just a light brush of his fingers against my flesh, feels incredible. I can’t begin to explain the heat that’s traveling from his digits to the tips of my ears, straight to my erotic core. My pussy is fluttering and soaked to the point I feel it cooling against my panties.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s eventually a wet spot on my jeans.

So turned on and unknowing of what I should do. I cross and uncross my legs. Trying to relieve some of the tingles accumulating…

Diventado: Becoming; by JC Wallace:

“Hey,” Turk said on an exhale, his lust filled eyes softening. He raised his hand, intent on touching Owen’s face, but Owen knew that touch would be too gentle, too intimate, too much like a lover’s caress with one exception… lovers weren’t supposed to want to kill one another. No matter how desperately Owen needed that touch, craved the affection after weeks of captivity where touches had been clinical and rough, he couldn’t allow Turk get close, again. Not when that closeness would cause misplaced mercy. Not when this man should plunge a sword into his chest.

Trapped in Time II – Chapter 7: by Julie Lynn Hayes:

I cannot sleep for excitement. Anticipation of the joyous reunion which shall occur on the morrow courses through my veins. I tell myself I must sleep, that Vittorio will not be happy with me if I do not and he will scold me for looking like something the cat has dragged in. Even so, I cannot seem to close my eyes. I stare up into the darkness of the night sky, tracing the stars in their familiar patterns even as I draw comfort from them.

How well my father understands me. He joins me without comment or censure and sits with me beside the dying embers of our fire, while all about us slumber, and listens to me talk about Vittorio. I lean comfortably against him, my arm tucked through his, memories flowing from my tongue like vintage wine. Continue reading

An Eranthis in the Snow: by MC Houle:

William reached outside the sleeve of his winter coat and watched as a unique flake fell upon his hand, a white star that melted as soon as it landed, and left the smallest water dot as a proof it ever existed. William’s lashes stuck together as he closed his eyes in an attempt to stop the tears from drowning him in his sorrow. He tightened the top of his coat around the scarf when the sob, starting in his stomach, caught in his throat before escaping his lips as laughter. Suddenly, he couldn’t stop that macabre sound from breaking the silence of the evening.  Continue reading
