The Secret Sanctuary: Part 5 by Johayan

The mysterious Chris appointment started my day at 9am, then lunch at 11:30, then covering the desk for the afternoon. Not a bad day until 4:30pm when I had to deal with Kate getting arrested for the massive fraud she had been committing for the two years.

The criminal charges had already been filed and mountains of paperwork sent via courier to my lawyer as supporting evidence.

I looked at the clock on the desk and saw it was already 8:15. With a client at 9, I realized I should find some breakfast and get ready for the day.

Double Trouble: Chapter 101 by Jon Keys
Trent sat tapping his pencil against the table Josh had made for him a few years earlier. He thought it was one of their early anniversary gifts. Josh had gone to a lot of trouble with the details. Most of the wood was dark from stain but inlayed blond pieces added a level of meticulous craftsmanship that Trent appreciated.

But Trent was only distracting himself from the conversation he needed to have with Josh, about Danny. He’d got up last night to check on a noise he thought he’d heard and happened on Danny and Rob getting off.

Mine! Part Two: Chapter Six by Cia Nordwell
“Son of a bitch! Ritch, hide!” I jerked my arms and the cuffs busted through the cheap wood. Ritch bolted upright and then scooted backward off his bed and into the corner. “Where the fuck is the key?”No time. I jumped off the bed, fighting with the sheet. In seconds the attacker was on me. I fought back, using my cuffed arms to grab the back of his neck and yank his head down onto my rising knee. He yowled and raked my sides with sharp claws.I held back my own cry and fought with my teeth clenched.

Double Trouble: Chapter 100 by Jon Keys
Danny grabbed the crotch of his jeans and tried to adjust the family jewels. It seemed he always had a boner these days. He and Rob curled on the couch watching the latest blood and gore horror movie. Most of the time the movie alone would have kept his horniness under control. But recently his libido was far outperforming his normal levels of horny behavior. He jacked off at least a couple of times a day. Hell, some days he jacked off so often his cock was sore.

Rob wiggled against him and Danny’s dick flexed again. He struggled to keep from moaning at the innocent movement that somehow excited Danny. He wanted to fuck.

Demon: Chapter 43 by Nephy Hart

When I come to my senses I am sprawled under Tian’s still body. For a moment, I lie still, cushioned within the softness of the flames-that-are-not-flames, enwrapped by someone who is now as much part of me as the hair on my head. If I had thought I loved Tian before, now there is no word for how I feel. In fact, it’s so big I can’t keep it inside and I laugh. I have never heard such a joyous sound.

Tian stirs and sits up. I am content to lie and gaze up at him. He has never been more lovely.

Demon: Chapter Forty Two by Nephy Hart

I think to tell him he is wrong, that our bonding is complete save for the ritual to be performed by my father, then I realize I am the one who is wrong. We no longer need the ritual.

Breathing deeply, drawing in his scent that I can smell even here. I hold him to me, his back against my front. His head is fallen back on my shoulder and his beautiful eyes, filled with love and fire gaze at me with an expression that is so open it makes me want to cry. I know that he is wholly mine; that I might do anything to him now, to the point of killing him, and he would let me. I know this for sure, because I am his, and even should he drive a dagger through my heart I would bless him with my dying breath.

Buy One, Get Two and Three, Chapter 42, by Carol Pedroso

Daniel sighed when the door opened to admit Kevin again. He’d thought he would get longer to regroup and think up a new set of plans. But, that’s life. He was about to make some comment when another man joined Kevin.

The hair was different and the face was thinner, but those eyes. He would never forget those eyes.

“You,” Daniel snarled.

“Yes, me,” the man drawled. “I believe we have unfinished business, Silas.”

Daniel froze then flicked a glance at Kevin. One look at the man’s sickly expression and, yep, Daniel realized the old man had once again gotten them mixed up.

Moving Forward #65 (16.1) by Julie Lynn Hayes

Something was definitely up with Denver and Dustin, Marshall decided on the long trip back to Burnham from Galveston. Denver was texting someone on a regular basis, and every so often he and Dustin would exchange shit-eating grins. But when Marshall asked what was so amusing, they refused to explain. Lee just shrugged it off, and Marshall tried to do the same. He couldn’t shake the feeling that something was up, though.

“You guys hungry? We can stop and get something to eat,” Lee suggested.

“Naw, let’s just wait till we get back to Burnham,” Denver quickly said.

Marshall half turned in his seat and gave him a curious look. “You won’t

Mine: Chapter Thirty-two by Cia Nordwell

“An army of feral human werekin?” Alpha Trein snorted. “Ridiculous. This is why you called us all here?”

“You were informed of the basics when I called for the counsel. You have copies of the information we’ve discovered.” I leaned forward and glared at Trein, the sanctimonious ass, and growled. “You’ve heard everything we said, and you still doubt the threat? You’re a fool.”

I’d had it up to here with the older alphas who sneered down on anyone younger than them. I held far more power than many of them, which is probably why we’d become the target of

Regeneration: Chapter 1, Part 5 by Louise Lyons

“No.” I avoided his gaze. I didn’t sense he was a danger to me, despite what he’d done to get arrested, and the realization he viewed me in a similar way to Neil filled me with anticipation. I wanted to learn more about him, to hear his rumbling voice again, but I couldn’t think of anything to say to encourage more conversation.

I was saved from the awkward silence by the return of Dina, Susan, and Johnson. I passed a dish to each of them and we sat down to eat. Neil didn’t return until we’d finished the meal, and
