Demon: Chapter Twenty Six by Nephy Hart

My heart breaks that my prince should doubt me so. It breaks double that he should doubt himself. His loss of trust in me is hardly surprising as I kept from him an important secret, especially as I knew it would hurt his confidence when he discovered it. His lack of faith in himself is not only entirely unfounded but might very well be disastrous for us all. This is a crucial time for relations between our peoples and strong leadership is vital. I have no idea what went on within the Counsel chamber but I have no doubt my prince showed strong leadership. I saw it still in the way he dismissed his sister.

Moving Forward #38 (9.1) by Julie Lynn Hayes

Kenny knocked at the cabin door about ten minutes later, and Roger admitted him. Marshall hadn’t gotten a good look at him before, just from a distance when he and Roger were dancing. He was at least Lee’s age, maybe even a little older. His close-cropped dark hair was liberally sprinkled with gray, as was the neatly trimmed goatee which framed a generous mouth. His eyes were a soft brown, and judging from his tan, here was a man who liked to spend time outdoors too. A nice looking man, Marshall thought, as Roger made the introductions and they made room for the newcomer in the hot tub.

“Kenny’s from New Orleans,” Roger informed them. “He’s a doctor.”

Kenny laughed, a deep rich sound. “Don’t make me sound so fancy,” he said. “I’m a chiropractor.”

Double Trouble:: Chapter 72 by Jon Keys

Josh sat on the bleachers waiting for Danny’s turn. Why did we thought this was a good idea, and how did I end up at his first competition? Somehow the bull riding had seemed better than spending a day at the mall. He did not want to be the responsible parent in the junior rodeo circuit.
The dry wind whipped between the sheetmetal buildings and cooled Josh who was already warm from the morning sunshine. A second later it stirred the powered area dust before racing out the far side of the enclosure and left a taste of southwestern Oklahoma powder in Josh’s mouth. The late fall sun was hotter than normal, but the discomfort barely registered on him as he searched the crowd of bull riders.

Moving Forward #36 (8.4) by Julie Lynn Hayes

Marshall, Lee, and Roger weren’t the only ones heading down to the main deck. Everyone had gathered, interested in seeing what there was to see beneath the sea. The whole bottom of the ship was now transparent, and people ringed the viewing port, watching the fascinating tableau below.

Being taller, Marshall and Lee stood behind the others, rather than obstruct those who were shorter. They still had a somewhat decent view of what was going on in the ocean.

Schools of bright orange and purple fish swam in synchronized grace about the beautiful coral reef which stretched below them.

Thirteen Black Cats: Chapter 2 by Louise Lyons

“Ash. Hey.”

I opened my eyes and squinted at a bright white ceiling. Nothing that clean could be a hotel room. I shifted my gaze to the left, where a bag of fluid dangled from a pole, a tube snaking down to the inside of my elbow. Fuck.

Slowly, I glanced the other way, seeking the source of the voice. I opened my mouth, but no sound came out.

“Cat got your tongue?” The words were teasing, but his brows furrowed with concern above melting chocolate eyes.

I licked my lips and tried again. “Billy.”

“How do you feel?”

To Be Determined: Part 21 by Johayan

Caleb was quickly returned to the here and now as Shawn called out to him and asked him to sit down. As he sat down, his emotions kept swirling. He was overjoyed that things seemed to be going so well for Shawn and see Bryan so happy…yet he was also torn in his love for Bryan and his lust for Shawn.

Shawn reached out a hand and motioned him closer.  Bryan turned to Caleb and smiled, indicating that he should sit closer to Shawn. As he scooted closer, Shawn took his hand and squeezed it just as he was squeezing Bryan’s hand.

No Flash: Chapter Twenty-eight by Cia Nordwell

“Evin! God.” Ben’s toes actually curled. Evin’s mouth was wet and hot around his cock. He sucked the head in and rubbed the flat of his tongue on the underside. Ben hadn’t been with anyone in so long, he was going to embarrass himself.

In a move that was eerily familiar, Evin sank down to the root, burying his nose in Ben’s trimmed bush. He hummed and swallowed.

Ben gasped as his balls drew up.

“Not yet, not yet.” He took deep breaths through his nose. He groaned, relieved when Evin pulled off. He stretched up and snagged the condom

Moving Forward #32 (7.6) by Julie Lynn Hayes

Marshall watched Lee with a growing amazement as he drizzled chocolate syrup along Marshall’s body, over the mounds of whipped cream. Half expecting the chocolate to be cold, he discovered it was room temperature, and far from unpleasant.

“Want a little shot of this?” Lee asked, once he’d saturated Marshall with the stuff.

“Hell yeah,” Marshall said.

“Open up,” Lee instructed.

Demon: Chapter Twenty Two by Nephy Hart

As the door closes on Tian, I turn on Jandra.

“What’s going on?”

Jandra smirks and I hate her. The only thing that stops me slapping it from her face is the knowledge that she is stronger than I, and would overcome me easily.

“Sit down dear. Would you like to play chess? That always calm you.”

“I don’t want to calm, Mother. I’m sick of being kept in the dark all the time. No one ever tells me anything.”

“Stop being such a child, Castien. No one’s interested in your tantrums.”

Moving Forward #30 (7.4) by Julie Lynn Hayes

They sat together, sipping their beers, enjoying the laid back music which filled the air. Roger tapped his fingers on the table top in a restless manner. Just when Marshall was about to ask him what was up, Roger spoke.

“You know, I kinda feel like dancing.”

Marshall began to think of polite ways of saying no. Ever since the fiasco at Partners, he hadn’t danced with anyone but Lee, and wasn’t sure he ever would. Roger continued before he had a chance to think of anything.
