For Arad and Roku, each passing day tangled their lives into something far more complicated. Given the growing connection between them, it shouldn’t be so easy to drive them apart. A curious situation for two people so fond of one another.

Tristan suppressed a laughed when he realized she meant O’Connor. “O’Connor is on his way. I sent a spelled necklace to the infirmary and told the medics to give it to him as soon as he woke up. I felt the spell activate about twenty minutes ago. The necklace will suppress the mate bond enough to alleviate the pain he is experiencing.”

Here Kitty Kitty: Chapter 18.4 by Carol Pedroso

Patrick and Tristan rounded the hallway corner just in time for Tristan to have the wind knocked out of him by a blur of pink.

More people ran up as Tristan tried to catch his breath and hold on to the now wriggling pink lump in his arms.

Playing a hunch, he gasped out, “Fran, I presume.”

The wiggling stopped and a far too intelligent gaze captured his. He got lost in that gaze for a few moments before yelling got his attention.

“Fran, what have you been told about running in the hallways. You’re meant to be staying with your friends tonight.”
