Jason knocked on Trent’s door but got no response. After loudly knocking a second time and still getting no response, Jason decided to scout out the perimeter of the house and make sure there were no signs of forced entry or anything that would make it obvious that Trent was in trouble. He was about three quarters of the way around Trent’s house when he heard the sounds of a struggle.

The tension rose inside me the closer we got to the meeting. I didn’t know exactly who would be there, but it was rare—very rare—to meet a race as technologically advanced as Garjah’s.
